ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" words could not express my joy when I saw the email of being accepted to be a fellow. This is a great opportunity to work with other great minds from other campuses and countries in achieving our similar goals. the society need reorientation about the power of the girl child as they are neglected, ignored, undermined and set aside for so long. it's of recent that people are speaking out which is better late than never. the girl child deserve the same opportunity given to the male child. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: ABUSE, VIOLENCE AND THE SILENCING CULTURE

The project is about addressing sexual assaults, rape, violation and child abuse. These things have recently sky rocketed as a topics in Nigeria. Olanrewaju hopes to address these topics by
identifying the problems, addressing the various solutions to these problems. it involve active rallies in the community, online campaigns, seminars and talk shows. Alsp, dignitaries grounded
in these matters will be invited to address these matters.

About the Millennium Fellow

Solanke Olanrewaju is a 500 level student of Babcock university. He is a photographer. He is a a poet, debater and a public speaker. Olanrewaju has held many leadership position and he has succeeded in many tasks assigned to him.
