Furthermore, I am looking forward to furthering my understanding of different cultures by engaging in dialogue with individuals from around the world. It is truly an honor to have been selected as a Millennium Fellow for the class of 2020. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The National Student Asylum Representative Project

The National Student Asylum Representative Project aims to equip other universities with the necessary skills to establish their own immigration clinics. The project will provide
undergraduates at these universities with training and experiential learning opportunities. This semester, the Fellow hopes to establish partnerships with two major universities and train 15 new representatives. Ultimately, Oona hope to help inspire dozens of students to become newly accredited DOJ representatives. This project has the capacity to be an invaluable resource for individuals without access to proper legal representation.
