UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT KHUSHI SHARMA, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2020.
University of Delhi | New Delhi, India | Advancing SDG 3, 4, 10 & UNAI 2
" I feel absolutely honored to be selected as a Millennium Fellow, 2020. It is a great opportunity that will help my dream of Reducing Inequality in the society become a reality. I hope to impart basic education, sanitation and skills to underprivileged women and children in the slums on Urban India so that they can earn an income enough to live a healthy lifestyle: three full meals a day, a roof over their head and clothes to cover their body. I am excited to work with like-minded individuals from all over the world and broaden my horizon of knowledge and experience. I assure that I would work with the most sincerity, hardwork and passion. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Vihaan
Vihaan, the project name means 'dawn; the first ray of sun'. The project aims at bringing a new morning to the underprivileged children and women. Healthcare, basic education, sanitary needs and awareness about their constitutional rights is what Project Vihaan will strive for.
