" I am really looking forward to work with like minded peer group in indian community and learn different aspects on how to efficiently use environment and take climate actions to save the planet. I am also grateful for this opportunity and i want to make use of it to nurture and showcase my ideas and contribute to the fullest. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Go Vegan for Health & Planet

The project is based on spreading awareness on how plant based diet reduces carbon emission cutting on the amount of global warming, deforestation, carbon dioxide as the livestock accounts for about 14% global green house gas emission which equals all the combined transportation pollution of the world.Animal agriculture/cattle rearing produces a lot of carbon dioxide generation and using animals for food has to become one of the most damaging industries to our planet. The project will also highlight the benefits of a plant based diet on how not only it can improve our health drastically just by shifting it to a vegan diet reducing heart attacks ,it also increases blood flow in our body and brain for quality thinking also just by eating plant based food we can reduce carbon emission by 24% globally.I will do presentations in various schools, colleges, seminars regarding the same starting locally .India is a developing country hence we all cannot afford to buy electric cars or solar panels on top of our houses for now but we can surely start little changes in our food consumption individually to bring global level impact.
