" I am so excited to be apart of the Millennium Fellowship because I am able to have the resources to be able to talk mental health and mental issues that many people face. Mental illness and health are very important to me due to me dealing with an mental illness. We need to start having conversations about these and I can't wait to start that conversation. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Let's Talk About It

This project is allowing people to bring up the conversation of mental health and mental illness. Many cultures put shame on the talk of mental health and say to 'just get over it'. But that just hides more emotions and does not solve the issue.

Let's Talk About It is hoping to be to have three meetings with organizations that discuss about mental health on campus and give out more information on how to start discussions on mental health and knowing that there are people out there with mental illnesses and to be able to be afraid of talking about it. They are also hoping to donate $500 to Mental Health America.
