ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: GT Smart Sustainable Communities Club

This project will connect students with professionals working to advance smart sustainable city technologies catalyzeing development in this field. The Fellows will host regular webinars about topics related to smart sustainable cities. They hope to reach 1000+ people through this platform and provide the foundation for this club to thrive for years to come.

About the Millennium Fellow

Hoang Ly is currently studying civil engineering with a minor in chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is the first person in his family to attend college and is very grateful for all the hard work that his parents have done to get him where he is now.
