" As a Millennium Fellow, I look forward to connecting with others with a similar passion for making a meaningful impact in our communities, sharing ideas and experiences to support one another in our goals for a better future. By coming together as collective youths, we are empowered to create change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Hidden Initiative

The Hidden Initiative, founded by Australian Griffith University students, strives to spread awareness and understanding for those living with disabilities and mental and/or physical health conditions that aren't apparent to the naked eye. By stimulating discussion and increasing the visibility of related support services, The Hidden Initiative aspires to minimise the stigma and feeling of shame felt by those with hidden conditions.

The Hidden Initiative will raise $1,000 to support related organisations, fund scholarships and fund future activities. The Hidden Initiative will also reach 5,000 people through engagement on social media platforms (quantified through likes, comments and followers), primarily through Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
