" I am thrilled to be part of the Millennium Fellowship because I consider it an opportunity to continue with my passion of helping my community. I have a dream to see every African child at least educated and I believe that with the great minds of the millennials, that will come true someday. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Africa Students' Support Network

The Africa Students' Support Network is an education support initiative registered as a community-based organisation in Uganda. The project activities are categorized under three principal programs; education support, mentorship and entrepreneurial leadership, all through which we empower potential to transform the African continent. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation where they can not organize public physical meetings, the Fellows hope to hold three zoom meetings to bring members into continuous benefit from the project. In these online meetings, they target about 50 members turn-up, and resourceful individuals will be invited to talk to them online. They also aim at sharing Afrissun monthly newsletter containing such information as afrissun featuring in the Millennium Fellowship and so on. The social media platforms will be the main channels of operation.
