ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: College Guidance Center
College Guidance Center is a project that would develop a set of resources for students related to college guidance, including mentorship on preparing for and applying to college, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities. Specifically, Nidhi hopes to create a comprehensive guidance curriculum for all four years of high school for students, partner high school students with college students who are interested in being mentors, host virtual events for students (panels, Q&As and workshops tailored for students at specific stages of their high school career), and work high schools to create more school-wide programming that aligns with the project's broader mission.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nidhi Patel is a rising junior at Harvard College studying Government and Neuroscience. From New Jersey, she is extremely interested in global development issues, especially education and healthcare inequality. On-campus, she is involved with organizations like the Harvard Global Education Movement. She is excited to work with the Millennium Fellowship this year and learn from diverse student leaders to advance principles of inclusion and global citizenship in communities worldwide.
