" Being a Millennium Fellow provides me with the unique opportunity to be connected to so many innovative and amazing young leaders all over the world who are driving change in many crucial fields. I believe that learning and taking inspiration from situations and solutions all over the world will prove to be essential in moving forward with any initiative. I believe this Fellowship will make me more acutely aware of all the avenues in which I could bring about a change and thus be more socially active in the coming years. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: TFS: The First Step
The First Step, aims to get in touch with women across all age groups and train them with basic skills. Education is a necessity and there’s a long way to go beyond the formal education we receive from institutions. The current pandemic has made us realise how getting out of this will become even more difficult for people from a lower socio-economic background. Women have always had a difficulty establishing their feet. This project aspires to reach out to them, train them over a period of 5 months, gift them skills that will go a long way.
