" I have always been passionate about social development. Being from a lower-middle-class family with limited resources, I have faced a lot of obstacles and sometimes even restriction to even basic amenities. As a reason, I want to be a part of a social change in the world and let no other kid, human face any problems be it related to education opportunities or infrastructure/ building. The very idea of helping and bringing a smile to someone drives me to take up initiatives for the social cause. I can't wait to learn the best ways to promote my ideas and vision which are so valuable to me, and being a Millennium Fellow will definitely help me. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: TFS: The First Step

The First Step, aims to get in touch with women across all age groups and train them with basic skills. Education is a necessity and there’s a long way to go beyond the formal education we receive from institutions. The current pandemic has made us realise how getting out of this will become even more difficult for people from a lower socio-economic background. Women have always had a difficulty establishing their feet. This project aspires to reach out to them, train them over a period of 5 months, gift them skills that will go a long way.
