" I am so excited to be a part of Millennium Fellowship as it is a great platform to work towards a goal with people around the globe and make an impact in the world. It motivates individuals to work towards a cause. With this platform it will help me to connect with other student leaders and expand my knowledge in the global healthcare issues and finding an appropriate solution for the cause. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Adhikarin
The project aims at raising awareness on the mental health issues, promoting mental health, breaking the stereotypes and discrimination on the mental health. The goal is to reach out to masses, educate them about mental health issues, breaking the taboo and stigma in the community, and to encourage people to speak up more and seek the support whenever required.
They also feel that talking about mental health improve their communities by making it more acceptable for those suffering from mental illness to seek help, learn to cope and get on the road to
recovery. They have launched an online campaign to further proceed with the project.
