ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" I woke up this morning and saw the selection mail from MCN partners for the Millennium Fellowship Program. I am so grateful to the Organisation for finally giving me a platform to turn my dreams into reality. With much excitement and anticipation, I know that its time for me to act for whatever social changes I have been longing for. To work with a team full of like minded enthusiasts with a vision and a plan has always been a dream for me. Finally, I am immensely thankful to all for providing such chances to prove ourselves in a global domain. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: World's Makeover
World's Makeover is an initiative by NGO Kind Beings, for creating awareness among the people regarding the major environmental problems. The project includes awareness drives and interactive sessions about waste management. The project had many cleanliness and plogging drives. The project also focuses to make people aware about pollution and energy conservation.
Hafsa will be working in unison on this project with other fellows on campus.
Measurable goals they hope to accomplish are in the following spheres
-Energy Conservation
-Waste Reduction
-Cleanliness Drives
-Promotion of local food(approx. 20+)
-Support for local businesses(approx. 20+)
-Pollution Control
About the Millennium Fellow
Mrilina Senjam has been an engaging being since childhood. Apart from the good grades in school, she always look out for social changes. She has been writing poetry based on social taboos and injustices, working for an NGO for social causes and engaging herself for various social impacts.
