United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" I believe that wisdom is a power to know the difference between right and wrong and i do in which I beleive.And I beleive that education is basic right for everyone so I do the same. I do this work (I teach children who lives in slums and also do so many other things for their wellbeing)because I love to do this work, this gives me peace of mind and satisfaction .The children inspire me alot .By seeing their dedication to learn to gain knowledge i feel i should do my best for them .I should not only give them knowledge but I should also solve all their queries in right way and for that first I have to gain knowledge and for that too what would be more better than this platform. I mean through this platform I can learn so many things. I can gain knowledge from experienced people. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Noor
Project Noor is all about imparting quality education to underprivileged children. They not only focus on academic learning but also inculcate moral values in the children of their communities. The Fellows have recently started focusing on adult literacy as well. The volunteers from campus go to field visits every alternative day for two hours wherein the children are taught in open areas. But due to the pandemic, they are shifting their focus on virtual platforms where they will be sharing YouTube lectures with the children and the team will be in constant touch with them through Whatsapp groups.
The Fellows will be positively impacting 450 lives in this duration. They will be trying their utmost best to impart quality education even in the midst of a pandemic.
