ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

For individuals to prosper economically and socially sustainability is a must. During this Fellowship period, connecting and collaborating with diverse population will grant me the opportunity of a new learned experience. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: World's Makeover

World's Makeover is an initiative by NGO Kind Beings, for creating awareness among the people regarding the major environmental problems. The project includes awareness drives and interactive sessions about waste management. The project had many cleanliness and plogging drives. The project also focuses to make people aware about pollution and energy conservation.
Hafsa will be working in unison on this project with other fellows on campus.

Measurable goals they hope to accomplish are in the following spheres
-Energy Conservation
-Waste Reduction
-Cleanliness Drives
-Promotion of local food(approx. 20+)
-Support for local businesses(approx. 20+)
-Pollution Control

About the Millennium Fellow

Tenzing Choden Sherpa an undergraduate student pursuing B.A. Economics Honours. An optimistic person who sees the world full of opportunities and connections. Through the Millennium Fellowship Program,Tenzing desires to attain SDGs to benefit the Mother Earth.
