" I am a firm believer of the fact that every child should have an equal opportunity of education. I, therefore, with my team members in NOOR am working towards providing quality education to the children of slums of Delhi. I am very thankful to Millennium Fellowship to provide me with this opportunity. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project NOOR
Project Noor is all about imparting quality education to underprivileged children. They not only focus on academic learning but also inculcate moral values in the children of their communities. The Fellows have recently started focusing on adult literacy as well. The volunteers from campus go to field visits every alternative day for two hours wherein the children are taught in open areas. But due to the pandemic, they are shifting their focus on virtual platforms where they will be sharing YouTube lectures with the children and the team will be in constant touch with them through Whatsapp groups.
The Fellows will be positively impacting 450 lives in this duration. They will be trying their utmost best to impart quality education even in the midst of a pandemic.
