ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Del Género al Arte “From Gender to Art”

This project aims to use art to create awareness specifically for women and the LGBT+ community by creating inclusion spaces with different activities like art galleries, expositions, storytelling, contests, etc. All these activists have one same objective: tells stories through art with no exceptions.

Our principal objective is to reach equality or minimum to create consciousness and sense with men in order to get them to reflect and be educated little by little untill we achieve a society in which we all feel more secure.

About the Millennium Fellow

Jackeline Gutiérrez Estrada is a student of Social Changes with a minor in Global Affairs at Tecnológico de Monterrey, campus Monterrey, with a leadership role on her campus as president of Social Changes Council. She has developed projects with state governments, the Mexican Navy, Save the Children, private companies, environmental programs, leadership programs, vulnerable communities and indigenous communities. As a passionate change agent, she was considered within the Top 50 of Inspiring Women, by the Women Leaders Forum of Mexico 2017, and participate as a speaker at the XXIX International Book Fair 2019 in the panel Experiential Education X Challenges.
