ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Del Género al Arte “From Gender to Art”
This project aims to use art to create awareness specifically for women and the LGBT+ community by creating inclusion spaces with different activities like art galleries, expositions, storytelling, contests, etc. All these activists have one same objective: tells stories through art with no exceptions.
Our principal objective is to reach equality or minimum to create consciousness and sense with men in order to get them to reflect and be educated little by little untill we achieve a society in which we all feel more secure.
About the Millennium Fellow
Jimena Borrego Villaseñor is a girl of eighteen years old that is studying the last year of high school. She is very ambitious and perseverant, nothing is impossible for her. She has a lot of encourage and determination. She is expecting to be able to work in politics in the future, but before it, she wants to help to empower women by raising the voice.
