ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Remember Us
The initiative will work with deprived special schools based in the community by implementing methods that the schools will provide quality inclusive education to the children from poor backgrounds. This will be done by coming up with robust approaches to inclusive education that will be affordable and implementable with limited resources.
Developed framework to be used to identify an appropriate inclusive education approach to be applied in the identified community-based school in Lucky Summer area, Kenya after a conducted research on the same.
Identified at least 3 upcoming projects on invention and innovation of assistive technology in Kenya that is expected to mainly constitute of students and fresh JKUAT university graduates.
