ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Light a dream foundation
Light a dream foundation is an initiative to help needy students in basic, secondary and tertiary level by providing by providing basic needs like learning materials, food items, clothing, gadgets and any other essential needs. The foundation would also educate needy students in the tertiary level on how they can fund their education and make their aspirations a reality by using webinars . This project would start by sending out applications for people to join this initiative. Within August to December, they intend to have seven meetings, one fund raising event, two donations and five webinars. This project targets to impact about 100-150 people.
About the Millennium Fellow
Adarquah Yiadom Jonathan is a student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology studying Bsc. Business Administration. He is the founder of light a dream foundation and also a member of flute charity foundation. Jonathan has an earnest desire to help the youth achieve their potential and also wants to make a social impact in his community. He and his team are spearheading a campaign to help achieve the Sustainable Developmental Goals.
