ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Brain In Chains

"The Brain In Chains" project is a social outreach campaign against Drug Addiction and Substance Abuse.

The team will host events reaching out to people by emphasizing on the hazards of Irresponsible Drug Administration. The event will be addressing factors that influence the levels and patterns of Substance Abuse and the related harm it can cause to the body and mind. They are also enhancing policies (According to WHO guidelines) that can significantly reduce the public health problems attributable to Drug Addiction and Substance Abuse. Most importantly, they will be working towards restoration of health in Affected Individuals by introspecting and taking record of individuals who have stopped unhealthy practices towards substance and drug intake

About the Millennium Fellow

Obasola Temitope Victoria is a Child Counselling Enthusiast currently studying chemistry at Lagos State University. She has an ardent desire for the emotional and social development of children and Young adults. She is an advocate for effective and intentional parenting because she values the act of eliminating hostile environments and creating environments where a child's voice can be heard.
Due to her passion to impact lives positively, she loves to volunteer for social impact campaigns and she is also a member of SDGsACT LASU ( Sustainable Development Goals Awareness Campaign Tour Lagos State University)
