UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT AMANI HAMMAMI, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2020.
Lebanese American University | Beirut, Lebanon | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 3
" I am very excited to be part of the Millennium Fellowship family. Even though each fellow colleague has a unique idea to implement in their respective community, we all still aim at the same vision of a better world which in itself empowers and encourages me to do my best. I believe that whomever has the ability to help others in despair has the moral responsibility to do so, thus the UN Millennium Fellowship gave me this opportunity and helped me develop my idea to a project targeting the SDG number 4; Quality Education because I strongly believe that it is the foundational base of any growth in any society that is willing to change for the best. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: E-Uni Algeria
The covid-19 situation has left bare all the fissures in the Algerian Educational system. Unfortunately, the educational structure could not properly adapt to the circumstances and it shut down since March 2020, delaying by that the second semester for around 2 million Algerian University students. This project aims at effectively introducing the Algerian University to a new technological era through utilizing technological means for both educational and administrative purposes. It is unacceptable that the young new Algerian generation living in the most technologically advanced epoch of all times still faces high rates of electronic illiteracy. E-Uni Algeria project is the unavoidable product of a transitioning Algerian society that has a vision of a better tomorrow; one that fits their potential and that they simply deserve!
