ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" I am thrilled to join the Millennium Fellowship since it is a wonderful opportunity for me to get to meet new people internationally and try to serve my community through international networking. I'm also excited to have a new family I can belong to where this will open several doors towards success in the future. Most importantly, I'll be proudly working towards creating a better and more sustainable community for new generations to come. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Career-Hub

"Career-Hub" aims to create a network between unemployed graduates to combine their ideas and end up with a Start-Up Project. This project will be made into several workshops in order to guide these participants thought out the whole entrepreneurship stages.
Some of the measurable goals is to:
1- Let the Community think SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-Bounded)
2- Create networks between participants in order to get to know each other and share common interests
3- Know how to start and what are the suitable measure that should be taken to implement such projects
4- Create Prototypes
5- Enjoy their time

About the Millennium Fellow

Karem R. Al Aridi is a Computer Science student at the Lebanese American University. He is ambitious and well determined to achieve more success and sustainability to serve his community. His slogan in life is to help at least one person each day.
