ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" I believe that the Millennium Fellowship will be a profoundly exciting journey, and being a once in a life time experience, I will get the chance to interact with like-minded people that are working on a variety of projects to fulfill the SDG's and the UNAI. Planning is one thing, but starting to work towards your goal is another, that's why I am really grateful to have this platform where I can work on my project and have an impact in the society I am situated in, and hopefully the world as a whole. Millennium Fellowship Project: Intelligent transportation systems
The project is innovating intelligent transportation systems to increase road safety,through surveillance of driver’s behavior and traffic law enforcement. The project will give training on several activities, to empower the community on the safe use of roads. The training will include; first aid training, Car maintenance skills, and safe use of the road for both drivers and pedestrians especially kids.
About the Millennium Fellow
Noah Mesfin Fisseha is a person who is always exploring new ideas and ideals. He has experienced diverse cultures and had interacted with people from around the world in the project-based learning he had participated in; therefore, that became the source of his inspiration to bring a positive impact on the commonality of challenges faced in this world. He is enthusiastic about leading and cooperating with like-minded people to achieve a common goal. He has a profound passion for travelling, design, problem-solving, and exploration.
