ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Channel Solar Energy

Through the project, they will develop a software that uses reliability and financial ability of the eventual user as constraints to determine the size of solar system components to be used in a stand-alone solar system.

Measurable Goals:
1. Finish the software design.
2. Develop questions in form of questionnaires and google forms on the software.
3. Reach out to five companies and use questionnaires and google forms to find out about implementation process of the prototype.

About the Millennium Fellow

Viola Nuwahereza is currently a student pursuing a Bachelor of science in civil engineering at Makerere University. She is a self-driven and highly organized person. She has mastered the beauty of team work and can as well fulfill personal responsibilities. She observes honesty, integrity and prudence in her ways of life.
