UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT ADITI PEYUSH, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2020.
Northeastern University | Massachusetts, United States | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 3
" The Millennium Fellowship is an amazing opportunity to collaborate with peers who are equally committed to globally advancing sustainability. I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow to help eliminate the looming inequalities that exist in our society. I'm driven by my love for humanity, and would like to give everyone an equal shot at success. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Log-in for Inclusion
2020 has introduced the importance of being digitally connected. By conducting a detailed analysis of areas in the United States that have a higher rate of marginalized communities or poverty, Aditi plan on drafting a proposal for those respective areas on why they should establish municipal Wi-Fi.
The Millennium Fellow hope to draft customized proposals for both rural and urban areas and then converse with legislators, city planners, and other town hall officials to discuss a course of implementation and feasibility. After drafting a proposal, the Fellow hope to stay in contact and find ways for the respective towns to move forward with the implementation. If they received confirmation from legislators from 4 different areas that they would be willing to move forward with this, they know that they are successful.
