About the Millennium Fellow
Yasser Aponte is kid who was born in Puerto Rico and transitioned to Boston, MA. Being that Boston was a culture shock to him, he had to assimilate to the American lifestyle. Boston's transportation system, green space, and academic institutions were some of many destinations he was tasked to navigate. Today, these same experiences have led him to champion community advocacy.
