" The Millennium Fellowship indulges you in an environment of creative thinkers and change makers. Opens your boundaries, broadens your thinking and hence, serves as a driving force towards making an impact and touching lives. Being surrounded by lack of information regarding higher education, having experienced it firsthand and seen people around me experience it as well, fired up the determination to do all that is possible to create change and protect futures. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Spark Careers
In Pakistan, most students do not have access to professional counselling nor are they aware of the facilities, opportunities or different career paths they are applicable for. In their desperate attempt to find answers they end up searching and asking on various different applications and websites. No service is dedicated to answering these specific queries and hence, information is distributed among various different sites.
'Spark Careers' is a platform for students of different fields, levels and universities to connect at one place providing access to information and specifically dedicated to solving queries any student may have when choosing a career. The platform will be released by mid-October with an aim to reach around 200-500 people through online means. They plan to pitch the platform to two other universities. And be able to give speeches in 3 local colleges. They also hope to reach 1000+ people by the end of the fellowship.
