ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Feeding lives
Feeding lives' aims to create and implement a system where excess food from restaurants/social events which is usually wasted to be delivered to the ones who need it. Feeding lives would target slums area where majority of the poor population lives. The goals for the duration of the Millennium Fellowship include:
1. Creating a system which can collect and deliver food from restaurants/social events to the slum areas.
2. They hope to create a website for this whole process so that it sustains even after our fellowship completes.
3. They are hoping to deliver food to at least 3-4 slums. To sponsor this, we will be raising sufficient funds.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hamza Iqbal is a junior student of Computer Sciences at the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. He loves reading books and is a great admirer of innovators like Elon musk and Steve jobs. He has found his passion in entrepreneurship and currently running a start-up named ELAJ; a telehealth platform. He is fond of solving difficult problems and his goal in life is to positively impact people's lives through his innovation.
