"

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pests control in plants

Pests control in plants aims to fight against pest and diseases attacking plants. I am working on how I can fight against fungus(pseudo peronospora cubensis) causing Downy mildew in watermelon. My project is aimed at finding solution without causing more negative impacts to environment as many pesticides do. I will achieve this using pasteurized milk (cow milk) as it contains protein like lactoferrin which kills Bacteria, fungi and even viruses. I will try to work with some plant pathologists to make all these happen.
