" I am so honored to be part of Millennium Fellowship because it is a dream come true. This is a great opportunity to interact with people from different corners of the world that will help me to learn from their experience. I believe that through improved agriculture, there will no longer be hunger on our planet. This sector of agriculture needs people who are passionate and innovative, it is for this reason that I would like to join my efforts with those of other fellows to improve agriculture around the world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Modern Home Farm - MHF

MHF, Modern Home Farm, is an integrated system built with a technology to rear animals and growing crops surviving from each other. Our project aims at solving the problem of food insecurity and the consumption of high carbon-foods. It is an architectural based, triangular-prism movable barn-farm with a flat top surface, and with three main components. Tank at the top, crops on outer sides in stairs and animals inside. Animals get feeds, and the system automatically takes organic manure from the barn to crops, and they both get water from the tank through pipes. Hence, crops grow healthier without chemicals. If this system is scaled globally, first, it will address the effects of COVID-19 by tackling the problem of food scarcity. Second, vulnerable, and pandemic victims will not face food insecurity. Third, every family/home across the globe will undoubtedly have food safety. We thrive to ensure zero hunger and complete satisfaction.
