I look forward to working with like-minded and passionate individuals that are working to build a better world and a brighter future. I am determined to use my platform as a U.N. Millennium Fellowship Project: The Pillars of Inclusion

The Pillars of Inclusion is a movement that will overturn the way that those from a marginalized background are seen in an educational, a professional, or a social context.

Diversity is reflective of who is at the table, while inclusion is an indicator of who is genuinely empowered to use their voice at that table. Both are equally important in the fight for equity and justice. Often times, diversity is seen as the only marker of success. While diversity is a necessary step to equality, we have to focus on inclusion as a vital aspect of our mission. We cannot progress and build equity without the inclusion of minority voices. My aim is to hold institutions accountable for their actions toward advancing diversity and inclusivity and encourage conversations that uplift the voices of marginalized communities.

The Pillars of Inclusion will live primarily through Instagram. We hope to have 500 followers, 100 page visits per week, 1 inclusive conversation per week, and 1 inclusive event every 2 months. Lastly, we hope to touch communities across Central Florida, and then move on to larger areas.
