Millennium Fellowship Project: Voting in Florida

The Florida Democratic Party believes in an effective and efficient government that values quality education, affordable healthcare, and an economy. It does this by encouraging the voices of citizens. As a digital fellow for the Florida Democratic, this is going to be achieved through registering as many voters before the election, conducting phone banks, recruiting volunteers, and digital organizing. Projected outcomes of this Fellowship include measuring voter registration, the impact of the digital organization, and phone banks. The SDG I will be advancing is reducing inequality. Discriminatory voter’ purges are a large issue and are just one of the many barriers that are keeping minorities from voting. I hope to combat this by expanding voter outreach and registration.
