" Are educators making it easy for students in different backgrounds to participate? Are educators aware of the students' states of mind? Are educators being mentors? Are educators bringing to light real-life applications of the content being delivered? It is not only the availability of education that says it all, but the availability of quality education. I believe in saving lives like Dr. Derek Shepherd. I am thrilled to be part of the Millennium Fellowship Class of 2020, for the mentoring and sharing of ideas with people from diverse communities. I know from this, I can go ahead and save more lives. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Somesha na Sheyan

Sheyan Organization provides IT educational resources to students in form of course content and project mentorship. We aim to provide content on basic Computer Science skills, to 500 people, targeting 200 people from the rural areas. The platform will basically be hosted on Instagram and Facebook where the content will be delivered during live sessions, and short videos being posted. At least 5 videos and photos per week will be posted. And one live session, for 2 hours every weekend. We hope to receive donations of at least 100 internet accessible phones.
