Strathmore University | Nairobi, Kenya | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 5
" I am really excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it will give me an opportunity to fight for my cause as well as to get to interact and network with other young change makers around the world. I am passionate about quality education because I know that it is a big challenge here in Kenya, having volunteered in an underprivileged public primary school. I want to ensure that all children are able to access quality education. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Elimu Daima Initiative
Elimu Daima (meaning "education forever" in Swahili) Initiative is a project which is based on SDG 4, Quality Education. The project's aim is to ensure that children in underprivileged public primary schools in Kenya are able to get good quality education. These children have inadequate learning materials and their schools are understaffed. I hope to have impacted at least 200 children across 20 schools by the end of the year.
