ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Prisons Project
The Prisons Project is a project that seeks to empower prisoners with legal information so that they are better placed to represent themselves. With the Advent of covid 19 it is difficult to fully be physically present in the prisons but we could incorporate the use of electronic media to send information to the prisons on the given legal area.
About the Millennium Fellow
Joy Mereyian Selantei is a 19 years old student of law at Strathmore University. Joy loves outdoor activities and writing. She has a personal blog which she uses to share bits and pieces about herself and her expericnes. Joy is also very passionate and an advocate of justice.
