" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow so that I can grow while helping the communities i'm apart of. Growing up in marginalized communities has exposed me to the various socioeconomic disparities present and has motivated me in closing those gaps. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Stigma Unstuck

Mental health and stress have been identified as pertinent public health problems and rates of mental health conditions are rising. Multiple barriers exists in seeking help such as the sense of helplessness and the stigma attached to mental health concerns. Working through the United Nations Millennium Fellowship, this organization is aiming to address good health and well-being by reducing the burden that mental health and its various labels hold. Measurable Goals include:

- Number of events hosted (goal being 2-3 though subject to change due to COVID-19)
- Assessment forms (from events, end of year attitudes, etc)
- Partnerships will be created that will can help with sustainability and longevity
