ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: All In This Together
My goal is to have kind of an umbrella organization at helps students in high school organize workshops/events in their high schools to raise awareness on such issues. It will build a community. Also, I want to figure out a way to work in collaboration with psychologists/psychiatrists or if the school has the schools counsellors to help the students who want to get help after the workshops.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nur Akpolat is a sophomore and she is from Istanbul, Turkey. She is studying biopsychology and passionate about raising awareness on mental health issues and making mental healthcare more accesible.
