ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Food baskets for Colonia de Los Pinos

Mexico has been facing the quarantine with big changes, it has had strong impacts on its economy and a lot of people are losing their jobs. Due to that, getting food or maintaining the basic necessities for people have become a constant struggle. In this product I will be fundraising for Food Baskets for the people of La Colonia de Los Pinos. In it it will come the basic food that is essential for a Mexican diet.

About the Millennium Fellow

Arantza is a Mexican and resides in Monterrey, her home town. She was a proud student of the American School Foundation of Monterrey and is now studying her major at the Universidad de Monterrey. She used to be a Visual Arts major but has now changed to Educational Psychology. She enjoys working with children and likes to help them develop skills to be the new global leaders. The person who she mostly admires is her mother she is her everyday inspiration to strive forward and believe in your dreams. When she grows up she would like to visit new countries and work in schools to make the education system better.
