" I am moved by the idea of being part of the change the world so desperately needs right now, and making others feel the same way. I strongly believe that Mexico needs informed and active citizens to be able to stop normalizing wrongful situations like institutional violence. Together and informed, we will acknowledge our rights and therefore we'll make them be respected. I am very excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it's a unique opportunity to work with brilliant leaders around the world. I believe this is a one in a million opportunity to enrich myself with the diversity of the platform and with it improve my leadership to help my community to be better. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Factor de Cambio

Factor de cambio (Change Factor) is a project that aims to inform the population about their rights as citizens and about their involvement in the justice system and in its impartition. It also talks about institutional violence in order to bring awareness to it. The project intends to show as well when citizens are being re-victimized, so they can demand fulfillment of their rights. The culture of legality will also be addressed, so we can work toward a stronger, free of corruption community.

Due to the current situation of covid-19, Change Factor will be carried virtually on Instagram. We aim to have at least 200 Instagram followers, an active posting, meaning per month at least 4 publications and at least 65 stories with relevant information. Lastly, we hope to host at least one virtual conference given by experts (doctrinaires, politicians, entrepreneurs, etc.) about the topics previously stated.
