ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Swapshion
Swapshion is a project that is focused on eradicate one problem that is involved in the global pollution: the brief cycle of life of clothes. The society is used to continuously throw away their clothes, instead, we are offering everybody an alternative for a better use of the clothes by hosting a collective where people will be able to donate or swap any item they want by giving one and getting one different in return. (specifically: shoes, t-shirts, pants, shorts, jeans, etc)
Due to the pandemic we won't be able to host the collectives so, our goals within August-December are to contact associations where we will donate the clothes collected after the pandemic, work on our logistics strategy, create our identity, spread our project so people get to know us and plan our new goals for the upcoming year.
About the Millennium Fellow
Paulina has worked with NASA twice and went to Space Camp. She exposed her art at UDEM twice and at Sacrum Art Museum, got her IBPOP Diploma and started her career of Marketing in UDEM. As pro-athlete, she has been into Youth Olympic Games trials and National Team trials. She's currently in LALAVCamps
