" I am so thrilled to be part of the Millennium Fellowship class 2020 because it is an amazing opportunity to learn so many things from people all around the world and to be able to apply the knowledge in my future profession to make a change in Mexico. I believe that there is still a lot of work that could be done to improve the health and well-being in all the world and to be able to contribute to achieve a free and complete access to health is everything I could ever ask for. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Healing with prevention

How are we supposed to achieve a world in which there is a complete health and well-being by focusing only on treating the diseases that are already affecting the society? That is why Healing with prevention was born. We believe that to be able to achieve complete health and well-being in all our communities the prevention and education are the key.

Healing with prevention has the goal of health promotion within the society by educating people in important public health topics, such as: mental health, healthy lifestyle and non-communicable diseases, and communicable diseases, among others. We have already started to work with some communities and students in different activities, like: webinars, workshops and infographics. Our goal is to have an impact of at least 2,500 persons during a 6 month period with our different activities.
