ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Quality Education For The Needy

Quality Education For The Needy is a project that will outline and support the needy or children for poor backgrounds to enroll in school. Give them both formal and informal education.supply them with school uniforms,reading books and exercise books,pen and pencils .the project will focus mostly on those in the rural ares.by so doing it will prevent the females from unwanted pregnancies and the males from involving in armed robbery.the project will contribute to the fight of COVID 19 if it persist till the commencement of the project, by educating people about the protocols of the word health organization. Which is the wearing of face / nose mask , washing of hands with soap under running water, observing social distancing and the use of alcohol based sanitizers . Even if possible, scholarships will be awarded to brilliant students.the project will also focus on the pupil of the basic schools up to the Junior high school. My project will cover these pupil and I hope to have about 400 to 500 people benefiting from my project by the stipulated time.

About the Millennium Fellow

Davidson Mesu is a student at the University for Development Studies (UDS). Davidson is a level 100 student studying geological science. Davidson describes himself as a humble, tolerate, inclusive, and a leader.

Davidson likes reading, singing and playing of the piano. He aspires to be one of the greatest geoscientist in the world, so that he can help change and promote the SDGs in his community. Davidson's ambition is to ensure that every poor child gets a Quality Education.
