" Being a Millennium Fellow thrills me. I believe it is a massive opportunity to connect and build a team of intellectuals who are ready to spur the burning sensation within to make a difference in our societies. With an undying urge for change-positive change, I focus and dedicate myself to women empowerment to encourage to avail to the world what is within. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Discrimination Against Women’s Dressing (Project DAWD)

Women are shamed because of their skin and this has been a huge problem in the entire world. In my society, some women are shamed for what they wear even when they are dressed decently. These women cannot walk with their heads held high. The pressure from society makes some become who they are not. They lose their confidence, belief, voice and trust in themselves. Our society promotes decency, thus no woman should be humiliated for dressing decently.
