ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" I am very much thrilled and excited to be part of the Millennium Fellowship because the fellowship offers variety of opportunities that will enable me add more skills, experience and broaden my knowledge base as I work with diverse group of people. I admire working with like minded young persons. I am passionate about leaving a legacy that will be a blessing into generations hence I am currently working on a project to ensure that the potentials of every individual is utilize for self and collective development. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Omanye Impact Project

Omanye Impact Project is a student voluntary initiative established in June 18, 2019. The project is aimed at building a resilient social environment that enables students to have access to equal, inclusive, quality and progressive education that will help them identify their potentials and express these potentials for self and collective development. Our first action planned target a total number of 100 students in a rural area in Ghana. This year we planned on increasing the total school attendance among students through the provision of some educational materials, providing mentorship, vocational skills acquisition and health education. Our target is to reach out to five hundred (500) students this year.

About the Millennium Fellow

Shadrack Nii Adama Kwao Sampah is a student reading Social Work and Religions at the priemer University, University of Ghana, Legon-Accra. He is very passionate about changing lives, hardworking, team able, cooperative, good communication skills and an extrovert. He is currently the Youth Member of Parliament for his constituency (Ablekuma South), Accra-Ghana. He is working on a project called "Omanye Impact Project".
