ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations.  80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows.  The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it is a platform for me to interact, and work with like minded people who share similar vision and ideals. It is also an opportunity for me to gain experience and connections in social impact projects, and ultimately bringing me one step closer to ensuring optimal health conditions in my country, and by extension, the world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Total health initiative

The total health initiative is a health centred awareness project that seeks to improve and promote one health for humans, animals, and the environment through communication of accurate health information in an interesting manner

By December 2020, the total health initiative seeks to:

Have an online presence with reach of at least 300 people.

Hold at least two online events promoting animal welfare.

Organize at least one physical event education community members on public health practices

About the Millennium Fellow

Daniel Sijuade is a veterinary student, public health enthusiast, writer, designer and content creator. Daniel wholeheartedly believes that optimal health for humans, animals and the environment is entirely possible, and that communication of accurate health information is key to achieving that.
