ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth STEM Matters
Youth STEM 2030 is a community of young people who believe that young people can, through science, technology, engineering and mathematics, be at the forefront of progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. With a strong enthusiasm that young people in STEM can make a difference, they created a platform where youngsters can share and publish their ideas, innovation and articles for maximum impact making it look the best it can be. About the Millennium Fellow
Fathia Bello Tolani is a tech enthusiast who has a very strong interest in STEM education and IOT. So far, she has interned at digital companies such as Battabox and Softcom Limited to pursue her interest in Embedded Systems Engineering.
She has volunteered for Unites Cisco Networking Academy programmes and also got the role of the Public Relations Officer in one of the clubs which was created by the Cisco Networking Academy in 2017. Currently she works hand in hand with Techgen Africa in promoting the STEM tutor product.
She is also an environmental enthusiast who is trying to reduce the issue of irresponsible consumption and climate change which is why she co-founded U-recycle Initiative Nigeria. A non-profit organization aimed at promoting recycling culture in Nigeria and her team have been trying their best in creating activities which would help the mission of creating a sustainable and eco-friendly environment for all.
