ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2020
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2020, 15,159 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2020 on 1,458 campuses across 135 nations. 80 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 1,000+ Millennium Fellows. The Class of 2020 is bold, innovative, and inclusive.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Act On NCDs Campaign
The Act on NCDs Campaign is a project by CHRONmate, a non-profit working to combat chronic/non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and it is to commemorate the Global Action Week on NCDs (7th to 13th of September). It is themed around creating dialogue regarding NCDs and advocating for "Accountability" on the part of leaders. Specifically, within August 2020 to December
2020, the team will work on the following objectives:
1. To host educative talk shows on local radio reaching at least 5000 people each.
2. To host our second youth meetup (virtual) which will bring together at least 500 youths to discuss about chronic diseases and steer up solutions.
3. To reach 5000 people on social media.
4. To raise $500 to support the organization.
5. To collaborate with at least five other organizations in order to expand reach.
About the Millennium Fellow
Eseosa Favour Iyagbaye is a student pharmacist, podcaster, vice president of her college student association and the founder of CHRONmate, a youth-led non-profit, working to combat chronic diseases in vulnerable/low-income regions. She is passionate about health education, policy and advocacy.
Eseosa is an activist for health, human rights and equality as she serves as Youyh Champion at ONE, a global organization campaigning against extreme poverty and preventable diseases. She is also a continuous learner and enthusiastic about positive youth development.
