" I am passionate about empowerment and development of the girl child. Over the years, I've seen females being relegated. People don't place value on females anymore because they feel they don't have much to give and this mindset has crept in to the leadership positions in African countries especially Nigeria. This is really of great concern to me. I see women to be made with so much more and when they are properly mentored, they will do exploits. Hence, my initiative which is my project for the Millennium Fellowship (The Balanced Woman Initiative), the aim of my project is to empower women and develop them to live out their potentials. I'm so glad to be here and I'm ready to learn from other great minds from the globe. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Balanced Woman Initiative.

The balanced woman initiative is an initiative aim to empower and develop women (age 18-35years) to explore their potentials. We have the following departments in this initiative. They are; health, education, career, counselling, welfare, outreach, home building and sexual abuse program department. These are put together to bring equity in the lives of women and build capacity in them. The balanced woman initiative would be live on instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and have a website for accessibility. We hope to have at least 1000 facebook visit per month and at least 100 comments per month. We aim at sharing ideas and other publications that can be of help to every woman.
