" Checking my mail and realising that I was selected for this year's Millennium Fellowship, I was super elated. I consider this an awesome opportunity to be part of this programme. This would serve as platform for me to be more exposed to new things, meet new people from different places, learn new skills and also adding up to the knowledge I have, which will rekindle the yearning for knowing the importance of quality education that is beyond the four walls of a traditional classroom. I'd ensure to extend this knowledge to my immediate community and eventually to the country at large. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: REACH

Project REACH is an infant project at an idea stage, yet to be moulded to reality. This project is aimed at sensitising Nigerians both young and old on the importance of quality education as many of them have lost hope on education and neglect it. By bringing forth this project, I hope to ignite the passion for education once more in the hearts of my people so that we all grow together and make the world a better place. And also, to eradict "educated illiterate". Observing closely, some people just go by school and not through it. They have certain programming in their minds that really needs correction and unless a radical action is taken, things will never change. It's said, "to get a different result, you need to change your approach towards things, you can't be doing the same things and expect a different result. " So, a reprogramming of the mind is earnestly needed.
